About

Hi, I’m Daniella.

A freelance blogger with a passion for writing, an animal-assisted therapist, NLP practitioner and mindfulness coach – specializing in kids’ yoga, meditation and mindfulness activities.
I live in Johannesburg, South Africa with my husband and a house full of animals (3 dogs, 3 cats & a snake).
I believe we all have a magical potential within us that can be used to change this world for the better – and I would love to help you discover your magic…

Over the past 10 years I have been a student of psychology and have undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in this field.
I was so determined to become a psychologist and help others that it took me a while to realize the limitations of the field.
Psychologists are taught to put people in boxes in order to diagnose them.
But people and their problems are unique – and therapeutic measures should reflect this.

After being introduced to yoga, meditation and mindfulness, I was able to fully understand this.
Through these practices, I could expand my mind and accept that healing should be a multi-faceted process that adapts to the needs of each individual.
The practice of yoga, meditation and mindfulness has become medicine for my mind, body and soul. We are only fully alive when these aspects are in harmony and this can be accomplished by anyone through holistic living.
Intuitively we all know what we need to do to heal naturally – some just need a little help remembering what they are capable of.

This blog is for anyone who has been let down by traditional methods and would like to take charge of their own health and happiness.
I will focus on all aspects of personal development and self-growth that have been useful to me and others.
The topics discussed will simply help empower those who have forgotten how strong they actually are.
Together we will recover our authentic selves, speak our truths, access our divine wisdom and find our true purpose.

Thank you for joining me on this journey of regaining our natural abilities through mastery of our minds, bodies and beautiful souls!
