Set within large, green tranquil gardens on a beautiful property in central Pretoria is this luxury 5-star boutique hotel. Within close proximity to almost all the important attractions, landmarks and interesting places in Pretoria, this is one of the best spots to stay while in town. For foreigners exploring the city or even just local South Africans dropping their kids off at University, this is a fantastic option. A feeling of peace and relaxation envelops you the moment you enter the property and you will definitely forget that you are right in the middle of a bustling city.
Great Location
The secure estate can be found within the suburb of Nieuw Muckleneuk, which is an affluent area of Pretoria. The surrounding neighborhood consists of many embassies which make up a large proportion of guests that stay at Village Ridge. The hotel has its own restaurants, café, spa and more making it more like a resort than a boutique hotel. Guests will be comfortable and their needs will be catered to without even needing to leave the premises. Located centrally in Pretoria is a big advantage and gives guests easy access to high-end malls and exciting tourist attractions. Also the hotel offers a transport service for guest to and from the airport as well as free transport within a 5km radius.
Luxurious Hotel
An environmentally-friendly but urban resort-like hotel means a luxurious stay. With friendly and attentive staff, tasteful African decor and a number of dining options to choose from, guests at this boutique hotel are in for a treat. The 27 rooms are spread out over a number of buildings throughout the property. Each room is spacious, stylishly decorated with rich colors and stocked with everything a traveler could need. The rooms are stocked with basic toiletries form their own fair trade and organic Rain product range. Guest comfort is taken care of with special touches such as Egyptian cotton linen and efficient room service. The beautiful garden ensures guest privacy but also provides a welcome oasis that means a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Dining Options
Guests are spoiled for choice with two superb restaurants operating on the premises. Spicy Olive restaurant is a North Indian niche option with two chefs that create authentic northern Indian meals. Here you can enjoy some of the best curries in Pretoria. Another option is Iskia by Alfies which offers Italian themed seafood options. The food is freshly made from the best quality ingredients and range of basics such as pizza to more interesting fish dishes. Finally, guests should also make sure to enjoy lunch at the café. The hotel farms their own olives and guests are welcome to buy from a selection of olive oils, pates and more. Fresh home-made bread is baked daily and their desserts are to die for. All the options are vegetarian friendly and I would highly recommend their carrot cake.
The Spa
Every great hotel should have an excellent spa – well that is what I believe anyway. I can assure you that Village Ridge Boutique Hotel does not disappoint. Their Rain Africa Spa is run by excellent therapists that provide excellent treatments. While staying at this chic hotel, make sure to pamper yourself by booking a treatment. You can even spoil yourself by purchasing some of their delightful fair-trade products.
Choose the best when staying in Pretoria and enjoy all that this spectacular hotel has to offer. Luxurious accommodation, fine dining options, conferencing rooms, relaxing spa treatments and stunning gardens make for an unforgettable stay in the city.

The food at this hotel is superb. Their specialty is being a smallish boutique hotel that offers a large resort feel by providing guests everything they need right on-site!
